About our studio

Rangefinder (noun):

  1. a device that measures distance from the observer to a target.
  2. a camera focusing mechanism allowing the photographer to measure the subject distance and take photographs that are in sharp focus.
  3. an individual who spends a lot of time in the alpine backcountry, seeking beauty and adventure.

Okay, we made that last one up, but you get the idea. Rangefinder mostly means we can help you identify the distance between your organization and your target audience, and bring your message into focus to span that gap. But it also means we like to revel in the mountains and tell their stories. In fact, most of what we do is aligned with backcountry ethics: go bravely and tread lightly. We’re always looking for ways to be bolder and smarter about the way we do business, and we’re happy to help you do the same.

See what we can do for you.

What’s a studio, anyway?

The biggest differences between a project-based studio like Rangefinder and a traditional agency are:

1. We’re more nimble, flexible, personable and responsive,

2. We don’t waste money on things like fancy office space rent, and thus,

3. Our rates are much more affordable.

But enough about us.

Let’s talk about what we can do for you.
