Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument Campaign

You could say we have a special fondness for deserts. We were therefore excited to be asked to design the graphics for the campaign to protect Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks National Monument in Southern New Mexico, which in 2014 was successfully designated by the federal government.

Working closely with local businesses, the Las Cruces Green Chamber of Commerce, Partnership for Responsible Business, and several conservation organizations, we initially designed a poster and a custom graphic including geographic, biological, and cultural elements that were critical to the proposed Monument lands. From there, we have generated signs, stickers, brochures, flyers, infographics, print ads, social media graphics, flyers, and even a girl scout badge in support of both the designation campaign and subsequent efforts to retain full protection as National Monuments nationwide are threatened by federal review.

We are very proud of the work we have done to help protect Southern New Mexico’s beautiful deserts!

To see more of the work we do to support this Monument, check out all the cool things we’ve created for Friends of Organ Mountains-Desert Peaks. Also, we designed materials for a similar National Monument campaign in Southern California, which you can view here.
