Southern California National Monuments Campaigns

After our involvement with the successful campaign to designate Organ Mountains–Desert Peaks National Monument in New Mexico, in 2015 we were invited to come on board for a similar campaign in Southern California. A coalition of conservation organizations and local business advocates hoped to designate three new monuments: Mojave Trails, Sand to Snow, and Castle Mountains.

We created a cornerstone illustration combining elements from all three monuments, and used this to generate a wide variety of graphic materials–including posters, yard signs, and social media graphics–for the campaign, which was ultimately successful. Since 2017, we have also designed banners, billboards, and print and social media ads to support ongoing protection of these public lands as numerous recent monument designations are threatened nationwide.

We are proud to be a part of these efforts to protect Southern California’s beautiful and fragile desert ecosystems.
